Group Counseling
Group counseling typically consists of 8-10 people all dealing with similar issues led by 1 or 2 counselors. Groups can meet on a weekly, bi-monthly or monthly schedule. Please contact our office to inquire about current and future groups. If we don't have what you are looking for, please send us an email with your request.
Classes
Smart Therapy classes are offered periodically on a variety of topics such as anxiety, seasonal affective disorder, ADHD and much more. These classes are designed to educate clients about specific issues, symptoms and natural treatments you can do at home. Please contact our office to inquire about class schedules. Requests welcome.
Family Counseling
Families sometimes seek counseling as a unit to improve communication and family dynamics, to overcome a trauma or a loss or to learn how to best support a family member that is dealing with issues effecting the whole family.
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling can cover just about anything. Often clients struggle with specific issues such as anxiety, depression or bipolar disorder. Other clients need help working through a traumatic experience. Still others feel out of balance in one or more areas of their life.
Distance Counseling
Distance counseling treatment utilizes technology to provide services via video chat on a phone or computer, allowing clients more flexibility in where they receive services. Distance counseling may not be appropriate for all clients and issues.
People seek counseling for many different reasons. Our therapists have a range of specialties and experience. At Smart Therapy, we want to make sure you find a provider that is the best fit for you. If for some reason we cannot meet your needs, we will provide you with an appropriate referral.
Below are some of the main counseling services we provide. Each therapist has their own specialties, style and techniques. To see individual therapists' profiles visit our Counseling Team page.
Couples Counseling
Relationships can be hard. Whatever the stage of your relationship, sometimes you need help. Some couples seek counseling to improve relationship satisfaction, learn communication skills, overcome infidelity or even to help with the process of separation or divorce.
Psychological Testing
We do not offer psychological testing at this time, but hope to in the future.
